User Experience Designer

UX designer with 10 Years of experience solving usability problems for Saas, E-commerce, desktop and mobile platforms. I designed B2C, B2B, and Internal products. Worked with dev and marketing teams from product to rollout. collaborated using Waterfall, Agile Scrum ‘Just get-it-done’ methods, for startups, mid-sized to large established corporate companies.

 

Design Methods

I put empathy first with the Design Thinking Methodology and refine designs in a way that’s iterative and invites feedback.

  • Empathize - Understand your audience… their needs, desires, and pains

  • Define - Empathy feeds into defining the overall problem.

  • Ideation - Use UX principles and experience to produce solutions for these problems.

  • Prototype - Design, sketch, using cutting-edge tools to represent these ideas.

  • Test - Record real-world feedback, which validates or invalidates the definition of the overall problem.

Development

Whether it be agile-scrum or watefall I have experience in delivering Hi-Fi designs to the dev teams.
I encourage development representation throughout the design phase to assess the feasibility of the project and get a proper scope of the up-and-coming sprint(s).

I work with Business Analysis Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure visuals and user stories are spelled out in a way that is legible for development.

Teamwork

  • I have experience working with researchers, writers, managers and leaders all over the UX spectrum from robust teams to skeleton crews.

  • I look forward to working cross-functionally engaging with stakeholders and understanding the business needs and the bottom line. I encourage feedback both positive and negative.

  • I engage product managers to refine roadmaps and execute designs promptly while maintaining quality and being the voice of the user.

  • Marketing & Sales may not be an obvious part of UX but understanding pending campaigns and brand positioning can help establish alignment with how the product is rolled out.

    Sales and support provide customer feedback, especially in B2B environments.
